Its sequential access nature makes it slower for data restoration compared to disks.
  • Cloud Storage: Cloud-based backup storage has surged in popularity due to its scalability, off-site nature, and pay-as-you-go pricing model. Providers handle the maintenance of the underlying infrastructure, and data can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection.
